(1/2010) Ga Department of Education Special Education Division honors TCPS for "Recognition for excellence in the education of students with disabilities by decreasing the number of students who drop out and for educating children in the least restrictive environment".

(1/2010) JES, TCMS, TCHS and TCPS Pre-K Program receive status of "Accredited with Quality" from the Georgia Accrediting Commission

(1/2010) Twiggs County High School earns the Bronze Award from the Governor's Office of Student Achievement for greatest gains - one of only 4 high schools in Georgia

(11/2009) Governor's Cup - Region Most Improved SAT Scores
